Biosolar B40 is a type of biodiesel fuel that consists of 40% biodiesel (FAME – Fatty Acid Methyl Ester) blended with 60% regular diesel. This initiative is part of Indonesia's government program to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and promote renewable energy sources.

Objectives of Biosolar B40 Development:

The development of Biosolar B40 is part of the Indonesian government’s efforts to reduce dependence on fossil fuels and increase the use of new and renewable energy (NRE). In addition, the use of Biosolar B40 is also expected to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and increase the absorption of domestic palm oil production.
